We will leave in the morning towards Castelo de Vide. We will arrive at this Alentejo village and we will walk through its typical streets. We will start at Praça D. Pedro V, where the Church of Santa Maria da Devesa is located, the Paços do Conselho building, then we will go to the Jewish quarter, we will visit the synagogue, the village fountain and the pillory.
After lunch we will go to Marvão. This village, surrounded by medieval walls, is most interesting because it is located at the highest point of the Serra de S. Mamede, with a breathtaking landscape as far as the eye can see. Inside the walls, there is a beautiful set of popular Alentejo architecture and where some Gothic arches, Manueline windows and wrought iron balconies can still be found today.
