Visit the largest oriental garden in Europe, the Buddha Eden Garden, located in Quinta dos Loridos, in the municipality of Bombarral. The first stop will be at the oriental garden where it was born from a project that aims to protest against the destruction of the Giant Buddhas of Bamyan in Afghanistan in 2001. It is called the garden of peace for its amazing sculptures/statues, lakes, exotic plants, palm trees and a huge open space that conveys tranquility.
After your visit to the garden, we head to Nazaré. In the famous traditional fishing village, you can enjoy a typical Portuguese lunch and witness the biggest waves in the world at the lighthouse, better known as the “Sitio da Nazaré”.
Finally, we head towards the medieval city of Óbidos, where you will spend the end of the day in its typical streets surrounded by 13 meters high walls and you can drink the typical Portuguese liqueur, the famous Ginja de Óbidos.
